Where are you located? Store Hours?

We are located at 1106 East U.S. Highway 20 in Michigan City, Indiana. Our store hours are Monday through Saturday 9am – 6pm and Sundays from 12pm – 4pm. 

Do you offer design services? 

Yes, our trained sales staff has a wealth of interior design knowledge and is more than happy to help you with all of your design needs. “In-Home” design services are also available with your salesperson if desired at no charge. What are your holiday hours?

We have always believed that our staff deserves some much earned time off to be with our family's during the holidays. We are closed on Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years Day. We also close at 3PM on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. 

How do I request for a donation or sponsorship from Naturally Wood?

What types of furniture do you sell?

We have evolved over the past 50 years into a full line furniture and mattress store. Selling furniture and mattresses from some of the best brand sin the business such as Ashley Furniture, Flexsteel, Liberty, International, Mega Motion, Perdue, Therapedic and more. 

Purchasing & Payment Questions...

What happens after I place an online order?

To start, THANK YOU! We greatly appreciate your business. Once an order is placed our sales associates will receive the order and call you to verify the items, pricing, delivery time, order time and your information. Once this is verified, your credit card will be processed and the order will be initiated. 

How long do special orders take? How can I check status?

Depending on the vendor and availability, special orders can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks. Please call us for more information and a more accurate time frame based on your specific items of interest. 

 

You can check the status of your order anytime during store hours by calling or texting us at 219-872-6501. 

Do you offer custom orders? 

Yes! We currently offer fully customizable options from Flexsteel Furniture. We have a dedicated Flexsteel gallery showroom with over 2500 square feet of products to select from. We have hundreds of fabric, feet and style options which we can show you using our designing software. Our staff has even completed all of Flexsteel's training programs and are ready to answer any design questions you may have. We have everything you need to design your ideal piece of furniture from the ground up!

Do you sell items directly from the showroom floor? 

Yes! This is a major difference between us and many other stores which allows you to get your items faster. Since our showroom is considered to be part of our “stock” we can sell you anything you see on our floor. We also have a very large attached warehouse that has a lot of backstock of particular items at all times. This is all in an effort to keep you from waiting and to better service our customers. 

Do your sales associates get commission? 

Yes! Our sales associates do work on commission. Our sales team works hard to give you the best experience possible and this allows us to be able to reward them for all of their hard work and dedication. Each sales person’s name will be listed on your sale or estimate as well. 

Are fabric swatches available? 

Fabric swatches are available for rental from most companies for a 24–48-hour period from our showroom. If we do not have a swatch or cannot get one, we can lend out a pillow or cushion as well. We will take your credit card information as a precaution during the rental period and then shred your credit card information upon return. 

Can I place an order online for pickup? 

You bet! At checkout, simply select “pickup” at checkout to pick up the item from our Michigan City location. 

What are your payment options?

We currently accept all major credit cards (Amex, Discover, Mastercard, Visa), checks & cash. Online options through ShopPay include all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal and more. ShopPay also offers 4 interest free installments on our website for all items. We can accept payments in person, over the phone or through our texting service. We also offer a FREE 90-day layaway program as well as up to 12 months same as cash financing through Synchrony Bank. Do you have gift cards?

Gift certificates are available for purchase in store or via phone. Please stop in during business hours or call / text us at 219-872-6501. 

Do you offer a Buy Now, Pay Later option? 

Yes, we currently offer buy now pay later through ShopPay. Simply select the 4 free installments via ShopPay option at checkout and you will be all set!

Delivery, Warranty & Service Questions...

Do you have a service department?

Yes! Part of what keeps our customers coming back again and again is our award-winning customer service department. Our “in-house” service techs are always here to assist you long after the sale should you need them. Can I get replacement parts? 

Our factory trained service techs can assist you with ordering replacement parts as long as they are available from the manufacturer. If the item is out of warranty, there may be a charge for such parts. 

What is your delivery radius?

We currently deliver and service within a 50-mile radius from our store in Michigan City, IN. If you are outside of our service area please call or text us to discuss further options. Delivery fees may apply. 

Do you remove our old furniture?

At this time, we cannot haul away any of your previously owned items. However, we are more than happy to move your existing items to another room, garage or to the curb at no charge. Our delivery teams operate on a “1 for 1” rule. Example: If they deliver a sofa, they can help you move an existing sofa. We encourage you to call your local city or refuge department to determine the best course of disposal for your previous items. We also have many local charities that we work with who can accept donations. Please call us at 219-872-6501 for those contacts. 

Why don’t you haul away old furniture? 

We do not haul away old furniture for a number of reasons. The most important being the health and cleanliness of our customers and their new furniture that we are delivering. Would you want your brand-new sofa next to someone else’s old sofa in our delivery vehicles? Probably not! The second being the cost and logistics of breaking down and disposing of any old furniture and doing a full truck sterilization between every delivery. 

Will your delivery team setup my items? 

Yes, our trained delivery team members will fully setup your items in your home. All you have to do is tell us where you would like your items to go. We can take care of the rest! 

Do your lift chairs have battery backup? 

Yes, all of our lift chairs have battery backup. Naturally Wood will supply complimentary 12V batteries at the time of delivery.

How do I know if my furniture will fit in my house? 

Many of the items supplied on our website have dimensions attached to them to help with some of these issues. If your doorway is less than 30” we would like you to contact our warehouse management at 219-872-6501 so they can assess the situation. They may ask for pictures or other measurements. In some instances, we will be more than happy to come and measure ourselves before your purchase to make your items of interest will fit.

Is there a warranty on my purchases? 

Yes, all manufacturers supply a minimum of a 1-year warranty. Warranty information can be found on the tag attached to your new item or if you have any questions, you can always call or text us at 219-872-6501. 

Do you offer a protection plan? 

We currently offer a 5-year accidental coverage policy. This plan will cover your purchase from things such as spills, tears, rips etc. The best part? If you don’t use your policy in those 5 years you get your money back in the form of a store credit! That’s why we call it our “No Use, No Lose” Policy!
