History

We'd like to thank you, our valued and loyal customers, for helping us grow to be one of the area's most distinctive furniture stores. Since 1977, we have enjoyed providing you with exceptional furniture, personalized service, and a wide selection of merchandise.

For over 20 years, we have featured beautiful room displays of traditional, contemporary, casual, and dramatically different furnishings from renowned manufacturers. We go beyond the ordinary to include occasional pieces, lamps, area rugs, accessories, and wall coverings. We even feature a wide selection of office furnishings. Naturally Wood's large array of in stock furniture is ready for immediate delivery, or shop from a large selection of manufacturer catalogs to custom-order your furniture.

1973						Original building constructed as the Robert Hall store
December 6, 1977						Naturally Wood opens (focus is on unfinished furniture). Father (Roger), with formal training in woodworking, is store's resident adviser on unfinished furniture, providing assistance to customers in finishing their own furniture.
1990						Addition of 3000 square feet completed Norwalk furniture line added Name changed to Naturally Wood & More
1992						Converted 3000 square feet of warehouse space into showroom space and expanded office space (Wall Construction)
						Expanded product lines to include upholstery, dining, and bedrooms
						Awarded territorial franchise for Techline furniture system (German-engineered custom-assembled high-density particle board with scratch- and heat-resistant melamine surface)
1993						Named Serta store of the Year in Northwest Indiana
						Ranked Number 1 for overall product and customer satisfaction
						Awarded First Place for dealer support by retailers
October 2001						Naturally Wood Furniture Center now online with a new web site
